Back in, oh, let's say twenty ought nine, our fearless proprietor had started a project to categorize every release from NE Ohio from 1950 - 2000.  However, after gaining quite a bit of popularity and traffic the Powers That Be over at the unnamed blog site decided to start charging thousands of dollars a year to host the project. "It's OK" they said, "you can just host ads on your site to pay for it!"

Balderdash! With that the site was shut down as an affront to THE MAN and his greedy policies and now only remains in fragments upon the Internet Time Machine. Now that we are older and burdened with even more stuff in life to do we thought, "why not start up a scaled back version?"

So! Instead of trying to catalog everything released, we'll just focus on the records and released we actually like. One of the cool things about the original site was the comment section, where people would share information on the releases and new music in general, which we would implore you to do here as well if you've got some info.

So there you have it. We're not making any money off this, it's just a labor of love to get folks to tune into some of the exceptional music we've had come out of our fine area. ​Also, there's no timeline one us adding content. Maybe we'll do four in a week, maybe one a month. Who can tell? Life is kinda crazy like that sometimes. Cheers!
